Hello there, stranger!
I'm Lindsey, a 21-year-old graduating senior living in Madison, Wisconsin, the land of dairy and the Badgers. I'm a liberal striving for equality of all kinds and I believe recognizing inequality is the first step toward eliminating it. I am in no means unaffected by the culture I was raised in, just constantly working to fix myself and hopefully raise awareness in the people around me. I'm a political science major and have no idea what I want to do with it so don't ask.
I'm also a total idiot. I spend hours upon hours watching shows on Netflix. I love any sort of potato-based food. I drink more than my fair share of coffee to fuel the burning passion inside me. I paint my nails like 4 times a week. I live for the sunshine of summer and sunburnt skin. I'm a bit of a makeup enthusiast. I like to get drunk and dance to pop music.
I work in the office for the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the university's hospital. I was recently promoted from Office Bitch(TM) to an actual assistant with real tasks to accomplish but mostly just obsessively e-mailing the doctors I work for to annoy them into completing paperwork and confirming meeting times. It's truly thrilling.
I intend this blog to be a mixture of humor, politics, and life lessons so hopefully we all stay interested and happy.
